What's Your Best Bejeweled Score?
OK, here's the deal on Bejeweled scoring. You receive a base score of 10
points for each set of matched
jewels you create on Level 1. But that's just the beginning...
When you really get cranking, you'll find all kinds of bonuses, doubles and
even triples that will
multiply your score. For instance, try for longer sets of gems for higher
scores. Sets of 4 are worth 20 points.
Sets of 5? Wow - 30 points a pop! 6 or more? Who knows???
Bejeweled Chain Reaction Scoring
You'll get bonus Bejeweled points for creating chain reactions or 'cascades'
of two or more sets. Each set
you trigger after the first in a given move adds more points. The first
combo? 2x the normal points. Not bad, eh?
How about the second? 3x normal. Does it continue? What happens at the
fifth set? Let us know when you get there!
How about simultaneous sets? Completing 2 sets at once is worth double the
normal points for both.
As you move up levels, the basic set is worth more and more points, as
follows:
Level 1 - 10 points
Level 2 - 15 points
Level 3 - 20 points
Level 4 - 25 points
Level 5 - 30 points
Level 6 - 35 points
Level 7 - 40 points
Level 8 - 45 points
...and so on.
Bejeweled Timetrial Scoring Bonanza
Timetrial mode starts out at double the value of Normal mode, so sets are
worth 20 points each.
As you move up the food chain, the basic set is worth more and more points,
as follows:
Level 1 - 20 points
Level 2 - 30 points
Level 3 - 40 points
Level 4 - 50 points
Level 5 - 60 points
Level 6 - 70 points
Level 7 - 80 points
Level 8 - 90 points
...and so on.
