Bejeweled tips and strategy
Now it really gets fun! Think about making use of our Bejeweled insider tips
and strategy to get the most out of playing Bejeweled. How much strategy could there be
in a seemingly easy computer game? You might be surprised! Check out some of Bejeweled's
"special situations" below that might take a keen eye and a little bit of strategy
and planning.
1. Double Trouble.
In this example Bejeweled screen, note that there are
several moves we could make. We could line up four white gems in the upper left (ABCD),
or three yellow gems in the bottom center (XYZ). Instead, we decide
to line up three blue diamonds (JKL) at the bottom, which in turn
will complete the ABC row when new gems fall to fill in the JKL row,
and score a nice bonus.
2. A Perfect Set-up?
Here, we are deciding what move to do next.
If we cleverly choose the three yellow gems in the upper
right (DEF), we will be setting up our next move, three blue diamonds
(KLM) near the bottom of the Bejeweled screen.
By carefully planning ahead, we maximize the scoring moves we can make.
Just make sure you don't take too long to plan in Bejeweled Timetrial mode
-- the clock is ticking!!!
3. Chain Reaction Contraption!
This time, try making the set of three blue
Bejeweled diamonds
near the bottom (ABC) in order to cause a chain reaction or cascade and
increase your
score! Once the blue diamonds disappear, the gems fall down one row and the
second
lineup is created - the white spheres in the middle (DEF) for a special Bejeweled bonus!.
4a. The Quadruplet (with more on the way!) -->>
Lots to work with here. In
this case, we
decide to grab an easy row of four and score a nice Bejeweled bonus, leaving
an incredible next move. First, we line up the four yellow gems on the right
(ABCD) and set
up the next match opportunity - five of a kind (MNOPQ)!
4b. Holy Quintuplets Batman!
Part II of the move above -- we line up the orange gems on the right (MNOPQ) and rake in a
whopping Bejeweled bonus! Now, it's really getting fun.
